If you are purchasing a kettle for actual use, rather than just for a collection, and you are buying online, one of the things that you need to consider is the “capacity”, showing how much water the kettle holds.
The manufacturer’s capacity rating is not necessarily equivalent to how much water you can boil safely for tea, instant coffee, bullion or other purposes. But, it will give you a good idea. If nothing else, it allows you to compare sizes. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but when you’re buying online, you need some specific descriptions.
